Let Not Your
Heart Be Troubled
"The Helper, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in my name; He will teach you all things, and bring
to your remembrance all things I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace
I give to you; not as the world gives. Let not your hearts be afraid"
(John 14:26-27).
There are some days when everything
about life seems in a state of constant chaos. Do you ever feel that way? Does
your life seem to be controlled by other people....your children, employer,
colleagues, or just responsibilities in general?
Do you ever feel pulled in all directions at the same time, and can't seem to
get on top of all that's slipped into your life? Do you ever feel that God's
peace appears to get lost in the shuffle of your stressful day?
I just want to remind you this morning, that even in such moments of feeling
disjointed, God's Spirit is still within you, and hovers over you. Pause for a
moment, right now. Simply acknowledge His presence, reach out to Him; He is
there to energize and give you His order and peace. The light of His presence
will chase away the shadows and show you the way through the maze of each days
stresses.
We all have a choice; today I can choose to let circumstances bring chaos to my
life, or I can invite Jesus to shine the light of His presence to create order
and peace. His special message to you right now is: "Let
not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
